9:30 Leave Shinjuku Station on the Keio Line (Express going towards Takaosanguchi)
10:19 Arrive at Tako Station and change to the Chuo Line
10:31 Take the Chuo Line (towards Ootsuki)
11:09 Arrive at Yanagawa
If you’d like to go from Shinjuku, get on the front of the 9:30 train at Shinjuku Station.
Please bring your lunch and drink, and wear appropriate shoes for hiking.
Course: Yanagawa Station – Suwa Jinja Shrine – Oono Reservoir – Yanagawa River (near Shiotsu Station for swimming) – Shiotsu Station
Walking time: about 2.5 hours
After the hike, we’ll hang out on the riverside and have a good time swimming there, so we can have a good time swimming (bring your swimsuit and towel).

This course combines the Shasui Waterfall (one of Japan’s top 100 waterfalls – hopefully we can get into the water there too) & 21 Century Park (a huge park with many facilities and extensive hiking trails therein). Should be a wonderful time!!!

Or simply can’t get motivated to go out and exercise or hike, and end up staying home watching TV all day. We can feel overwhelmed and this further de-energizes us, making us feel even more trapped.

Bring your own beverages, lunch, and a plastic bag for picking up garbage on the Chigasaki beach.
Meet at Chigasaki Station (on the Tokaido Line & Shonan Shinjuku Line) at 11:00AM.
Take the 10:31AM Shinjuku Shonan Line train from Yokohama (going towards Odawara).
This becomes the Tokaido Line at Oofuna Station and arrives at Chigasaki at 10:56AM.
Meet at the front of the Shonan Shinjuku Line platform at Yokohama at 10:31 if you want to go from there there. David will get on there as well.
COURSE: Chigasaki Station – Chigasaki Beach – Surfing Beach (Watch the Surfers/Swim) – Tsujido Nishi Hama (Frisbee, Garbage Clean-up, Beach fun) – Kugenuma Kaigan (Sunset & Party)
Walking time: About 4 hours
