(EASY)(¥1000 Participation Fee (Children free) + ¥500 Park Entrance Fee) (Will be held even in light rain)(in English)

The program is ¥1000 and everyone is requested to use English only for the first hour. After that, people may speak in their preferred language, but David will use only English during the walk for the first 2 hours.
Meeting Place/Time: Chuo Line’s Higashi Koganei Station’s South Exit at 12:26 PM
Take the 12:05 Chuo Line Super Express train (going towards Takao) from Shinjuku Station and get off at Mitaka (arriving at 12:17). Change to the Chuo Express (going towards Tachikawa) leaving at 12:20. This arrives at Higashi Koganei at 12:24.
 
This is an 6 km course that runs through the suburbs and about half of the walk is along the Nogawa River.  We finish up at Jindai Botanical Park, where there’s a Chrysantemum Show. The entrance fee to the park is ¥500 for adults, ¥250 for those over 65 and ¥200 those 15 years and younger.

12:30 – 13:30 – Walk to the Nogawa River (and stop at a Convenience Store to buy food/drink) and have lunch there
13:30 – 15:00 –  Walk along the river and through Nogawa Park
15:00 -16:30 – Enjoy Jindai Botanical Park
16:30 – Finished

Meeting place and time: Ticket gate of Higashi Zushi Station at 9:30AM.
9:23 Leave at Zushi station (JR Yokosuka Line going towards Kurihama)
9:26 Arrive at Higashi Zushi station

The hiking time is about 5 hours.

Hiking Course: Higashi Zushi Station – Batou Goddess of Mercy – Morito Forest Path – Adventure Course – Mt. Sengen Hiking Course – Hayama Hydrangea Park –  Morito Beach (eat, drink, beach fun) – ShinZushi Station

Meeting Place&Time: Takahatafudo Station (Keio Line) at 11:42 amTrain:  From Shinjuku station, take the Keio Line (Semi Express) train at11:07 am going towards Takao Sanguchi and get off at Takahatafudo Station at 11:40 am.

Course:  Takahatafudo Station (Keio Line) – Takahatafudo-son Temple (7500 hydrangeas of 20 different species) – Katarai Path – Tama Zoo Park (Tama-Dobutsu-Koen) Station – Nanao Hills Walking Course  – Mogusaen Station

Walking Time: About 4 Hours (10 km)

We will stay in the Takahatafudo-son Temple area until 12:45 pm to eat and see the beautiful hydrangeas. So latecomers who arrive by 12:30 pm can meet us at the temple. From there, we will walk to Tama Zoo (Tama-Dobutsu-Koen) Station using mostly a nature course, arriving at about 3 pm. If you want to join from this point, please arrive at the station by 3 pm. And if anyone wants to quit the walk here to go home or go to the zoo, you may do so. From here, we walk on the Nanao Hills Walking Course to Mogusaen Station (on the Keio Line). We plan to finish at 5:30 pm.
