(Children free)

The program is ¥1000 and everyone is requested to use English only for the first hour. After that, people may speak in their preferred language, but David will use only English during the walk for the first 2 hours.
Meeting Place/Time: Chiyoda Line’s Kasumigaseki Station Exit C4 at 12:00

Course:

12:00 – 13:30 – Walk through Hibiya Park and have lunch (We’ll stop at a convenience store before going to the park if you want to get something)

13:30 – 14:30 – Take a walk around the palace grounds and go to Kita no Maru Park

14:30 – 15:30 – Go to Yasukuni Shrine to see the beautiful line of Gingko trees

15:30 Finish up

(Participation Fee 1000 yen + Temple Entrances)

Bring your own food and drinks.

We will meet at the east ticket gate of Kamakura Station (on the Yokosuka/JRShounanShijuku Line) at 9:55AM. From Yokohama Station, take the 9:21AM JR YokosukaLine train (towards Zushi). This arrives at Kamakura at 9:51AM.
 
If you’d like to go with David, please meet at the front of the JR Yokosuka Line train at Yokohama Station at 9:21AM.

Hiking Course:  Kamakura Station – Myohonji – GionYama Hiking Course – Zuisenji – Tenen Hiking Course – Kanazawa Nature Park – Kanazawa Bunko Station

This is a 10 Km walk with about 5 hours walking time.
The total time of the course should be about 6 hours.

The selected temples and park are well-known for the maples and Ginko trees which should be in full color!!!

Wear good walking shoes.

Depending on the changing circumstances surrounding Corona, sometimes the event may suddenly be canceled or the place changed, so make sure to confirm by checking the planned event on this site on the evening before.

Requests to the participants

○Make sure to wear masks when indoors (on the train, in shops, etc). Also, after the event, when eating or drinking on the train, please make sure to keep the mask on after each time you eat or drink (don’t keep it off). Remember to keep both mouth and nose covered, not hanging under the chin.

○In order to continue sustainable activities, we’d like to ask to keep social distancing and avoid close, group gatherings. If you have any symptom, please refrain from joining.

○In order to avoid crowding at supermarkets and convenient stores, please bring your lunch with you to the meeting place. We will not stop at any stores after meeting.

○Please cooperate with us in providing your contact information (your full name, email address and telephone number) just in case of Corona incident.

Meeting Time &  Place: Keihin Kyuukou Heiwajima Station Ticket Gate at 12:03 pm

Shinagawa Station departure (Keikyu line Local going toward Kanagawa Shinmachi) –  11:49am –  Heiwajima Station arrival 12:01 pm

COURSE: Heiwajima Station → Heiwa Forest Park → Tokyo Bay Wild Bird Park → Ooi Central Seaside Park → Shinagawa Kumie Park – Tachiaigawa Station

Walking time: About 3.5 hours  8 km
Bring lunch food and liquids for the walk.

Depending on the Covid 19 situation and the direction of the Tokyo government (such as the phase of emergency), planned events may be changed or canceled.  There is a chance that our decision may be made in the last minute, so please make sure to check our announcement on the website accordingly. In the case of cancellation, ‘Canceled’ is written.

Miura Peninsula (Mt. Futago) Hiking
(Intermediate Course) (1000 yen Participation Fee) (We go even with light rain)

Meeting Place/Time: (Keihin-Kyuko) ZushiHayama Station 10:07 am
(Be careful not to get off at JR Zushi station)

TRAIN: (if coming through Kanazawa-Bunko)
Kanazawa-bunko Departure (Keihin-Kyuko Honsen Airport Express going towards Zushi-Hayama)  9:55 – Zushi-Hayama Arrival – 10:05

COURSE: ZushiHayama Station – Mt. Futago – Taura Plum Park – Taura Station

Distance: about 12 km, elevation Gain: about 200 meters
4 hour hike in the Zushi area, with evergreen forests, and going up Mt. Futago.

Please wear appropriate shoes (tennis shoes, hiking boots)

<Requests to the participants>

1) Wearing a mask and keep social distance
When you are near other people or talking with others, please wear the mask.  Remember to keep both mouth and nose covered, not hanging under the chin except when you start to feel sick or have a problem breathing.

2) Physical Condition
If you are feeling feverish or feel unwell, please refrain from joining the event.

3) Contact Information
We ask for you to provide your contact information (email address and phone number) just in case one of the participants gets infected with Corona (in which case, we will contact all participants on that event). Also, if you are tested positive for Corona after the event, please let us know so we can inform others.

In order to continue holding safe events, we ask for all participants’ cooperation concerning these requests.

Course:  Nishi Agano Station – Ogi no Daira – Shirataki Waterfall – Fudou Waterfall – Big Waterfall – Nishi Agano Station
About 4 hours

Please bring your lunch and drink and make sure to wear proper shoes for a hike.
