Hiking Course: Takaosanguchi Station – Mt. Takao – Mt. Shiroyama – Mt. Kagenobu – UraTakao Plum Orchard – Takao Station
ROUTE: Starting from Takaosanguchi Station, we will take the ridge course to near the top of Mt. Takao and walk from there to Mt. Shiroyama, where we will have lunch. If the weather is clear, we should be able to catch glimpses of Mt. Fuji along the way. After lunch we will pass through Kobotoketoge on the way to Mt. Kagenobu, where we can enjoy views of the surrounding mountains. The return route follows a meandering mountain stream back to a logging road which takes us to the Uratakao Plum Orchard, where we’ll hopefully be able to see the plum blossoms in full bloom. Unfortunately it is not permitted enter the orchard itself for a hanami, but we will follow the road back to Takao Station (for both the Keio and Chuo Lines).

impoverished area outside Cape Town which was partitioned as a “Black” residential area under the apartheid regime. Due to poor management, overcrowding,
and the unjust policies of the apartheid era, Cape Flats became environmentally devastated. Abalimi Bezekhaya is working to “re-green” the area by promoting
gardening and tree planting efforts. http://www.abalimi.org.za/

Inspect your mind constantly. (more…)
