Ashinaga (Support for Tohoku Orphans) (www.ashinaga.org/en/) – Many children and adolescents have been hit hard by the recent earthquake and tsunami. To provide them with the care that they need, Ashinaga is building a “Rainbow House” facility in northern Japan for this.
So you can have an enjoyable evening and help a good cause at the same time. If you’d like to go with David, please meet at Exit A1 of Omotesando Station
at 6:15PM on the 14th.

Meet at ShimoTakaido Station’s (on the Keio Line) ticket gate at 10:35AM
From Shinjuku, take the Keio Line (Local) at 10:22. It arrives at ShimoTakaido at 10:33.
Course (3.5 hours walking – 10KM): ShimoTakaido Station – Walk along the Kanda River (full of Cherry Trees) – Inokashira Park
We will have a cherry blossom party in the beautiful Inokashira Park after the walk.

6:30 – 8:00PM – Introduction to the transformation course and explanation on how this monthly get-together will proceed
8:00 – 8:30PM – Ronnie (the wonderful person who is working with street children in Uganda and to whom JAMBO sent many clothes) will contact us by skype and be giving some of the clothes which he received to the children there, so we can talk with him and the children. This is one example of putting “Spirituality into Action.”
This is the first of a monthly course (the first get-together being at the office near MinamiSunamachi station), using materials from the PEERS Transformation Course. This course, as well as our monthly meetings, discuss a current topic and various ways action can be taken to deal with the issue. Please look at the following link to see the contents and level of difficulty.

Therapy Road Hiking and Okutama Lake

Meet at the JR Ohme Line’s Okutama Station’s Ticket Gate at 10:25AM. From Shinjuku, take the JR Holiday Special Rapid Okutama#5 (going to Okutama) at 8:47AM. This arrives at Okutama Station at 10:24. Be sure to arrive on this train as we will be unable to wait for the next one.
Meet on the front of the 8:47 train at Shinjuku if you want to go from there there. David will get on the first car of the same train at Nakano Station.
Please wear appropriate shoes (tennis shoes, hiking boots), bring a lunch to eat on the mountain, and plenty of liquids.
Course (from Okutama Station): Old (Therapy) Road – Shidakura Suspension Bridge – Water & Greenery Exhibit Building – Okutama Station (by bus – 15 minutes)
Walking Time: About 5 hours
