1) World’s Largest Rice Paddy Art

Rice field art expresses pictures and letters on paddy fields using colorful rice plants. It was certified as the “World’s Largest Rice Field Art” by the Guinness World Records.
☆Meeting Time/Place: 10:00 JR Takasaki Line Gyoda Station ticket gate
The buses are running infrequently and we will be unable to wait for the next bus. Please be sure to arrive by the appointed meeting time.
☆Course : Gyoda Station -city circulation bus- Rice Paddy Art Venue-city circulation bus- Gyoda Station
☆Walking Time: Less an hour (less than 1km) plus a lot of time for bus and sightseeing so the walk should take about 2 hours.
☆The program is ¥1000. The admission is ¥400.

2) Edogawa River Clean Up

Gather at Myoden Station: 14:30
Riverside Meetup: 15:00
Return to station: 18:30
RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at Myoden Station (Tozai Line) outside the only ticket gate
at
14:30, and then go to the Edogawa River by car and pick up trash
along
the banks for about 3 to 3.5 hours

If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location
behind
Clean Center (incineration plant) and the Clean Spa. First walk
to the
Myoden Bridge, cross it, and enter the riverside path on the
embankment. Then head in the direction of Tokyo Bay until you see
us
along the water line. Also call James’ (the organizer) cell

RAIN
In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled
as
we will move to and from the river by car and we can clean up
under
cover the bay front bridges as a Plan B as well as adjacent areas
using
rain ware. In the event of heavy rain/strong winds (e.g.,
typhoon
conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled.
