Gather at Myoden Station (Tozai Line) outside the only ticket gate at
13:00, and then go to the Edogawa River and pick up trash along the
banks for about 3.5 to 4 hours.

bridges. Just walk to the river from the station and the head to the

Those who wish to go with David, please meet at Hino Station (on the Chuo Line) ticket gate at 9:25. We will take the 9:30 bus from there (15 minutes).
Work hours: 10:00 – 15:30 (Chopping wood, digging up bamboo shoots (?), etc)
Please wear long pants and long-sleeved shirt and exercise shoes. Please bring your own drinks, food (for lunch) and work gloves.

2) Yanesen Azalea Walk
(Easy)(¥1000 Participation Fee) (Cancelled in case of heavy rain)
There are plenty of old temples and old buildings from the Edo Period still standing in Yanesen. The azalea garden at Nezu Shrine has over 3,000 flowers and 100 varieties of Azalea that bloom from early April until early May. Bunkyo Azalea Festival will be held as well.

☆Course: Nippori Station – Yanaka Ginza – Sudo Park – Zenshoan Temple – Nezu Shrine – Nezu Station
☆Walking Time: About 1 hour (3km) plus a lot of time for shopping and sightseeing so the walk should take about 2 hours. You can buy food and drink on the way.

This event is organized by the Earth Day Ride Team.

Meeting place & time: 9:30 am at Mitaka Station South Exit Plaza (People renting bicycles from Suzukake Bicycle Parking will go together to get their bicycles). If you come with your own bicycles, you may come at 9:45.
Bicycle: Please arrange your own bicycle for this event (JAMBO will not be able to rent bicycles).

The closest rental option is Suzukake Bicycle Parking (¥300/day), which is the most convenient.
Alternatively, you can use Docomo Bike, community bikes, or your own bicycle.

Train: Be sure to arrive by this time since we will be unable to wait for the next train and attend to the latecomers for this hike. Please come to the meeting place at the appointed time.
From Hanno Station, take the 8:56 am Seibu Chichibu Line train (going towards Mitsumine-Guchi). This arrives at Bushu-Nakagawa Station at 10:07.
Course: BushuuNakagawa Station – Seiunji Temple (Weeping Cherry Tree) – Gokoku Goddess of Mercy Statue – Choja Mansion Remains – Hitsujiyama Park (Cherry Blossom Viewing) –Chichibu Station

We will take a train from Ichigaya station to Harajuku station, hopefully arriving around 4:30 pm.
Walking Time: About 3 Hours (7 km)
We’ll also be meeting another group for a cherry blossom party in Yoyogi Park afterwards (Though it isn’t part of the official event).
