RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at Myoden Station (Tozai Line) outside the only ticket
gate,
and
then go to the Edogawa River and pick up trash along the
banks
for
about
 3.5 to 4 hours

INFO
If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our 
location
between the Bay front bridges and the New Myoden Bridge.
 From 
the
station, walk to the new Myoden Bridge, cross the river, and 
then
along 
the river bank until between the two bridges and look for us 
at
the

RAIN
In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be
 cancelled
as we will move to and from the river by car and we can clean
 up
under
 cover the bay front bridges as a Plan B as well as adjacent
areas

 rain ware. In the event of heavy rain/strong
winds
(e.g.,
typhoon
 conditions) or lightning then the event will be
cancelled.

Explore the largest Chinatown in Asia. The area provides a wide fat eecvariety of authentic Chinese food, and attracts many tourists and locals everyday.

☆Meeting Time/Place: 15:00 at JR Keihin-Tohoku Line Ishikawacho Station Chukagai Exit

☆Course: Ishikawacho Station – Emperor Guan’s Shrine – Masobyo Mausoleum – Yokohama Daisekai – Yokohama International Passenger Terminal – Yamashita Park – Yokohama Marine Tower – Motomachi Chukagai Station

☆Walking & Sightseeing Time: About 2 hours (4km)

RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at Kojimashinden Station outside the only ticket gate and then
go to the Tamagawa River and pick up trash along the banks for about 3.5
to 4 hours.

If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location under
or near the new Tamagawa Sky Bridge (But walk straight to the river
first as there is no access from the bridge.) Also call my cell phone

Meeting Place and time: 9:47 am at Utsugidai Bus Stop

Those who wish to go with David, please meet at Hino Station (on the Chuo Line) ticket gate at 9:25. We will take the 9:30 bus from there (15 minutes).

Work hours: 10:00 – 15:30
 (Cutting down old trees, carrying logs, etc)

Please wear long pants and long-sleeved shirt and exercise shoes.  
Please
bring your own drinks, food (for lunch) and work gloves.

Train: Sakado Departure (Tobu Ogose Line going towards Ogose) 10:19 – Higashi Moro Arrival – 10:32

Course: Higashi Moro Station – Shishigataki Waterfall – Kamakita Lake – Shukuya-no-taki Waterfall –  Higashi Moro Station

The hike itself is about 5 hours (14 km)

Please bring your own food and drink.

 10:00, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the
river bank for about 3.5 to 4 hours.

1) Shonandaira Hiking

Meeting place and time: Ooiso Station ticket gate at 10:25 am

Train : From Yokohama Station, take the 9:46 JR Tokaido Line (towards Atami).  This arrives at Ooiso station at 10:21.

Course : JR Ooiso Station – Mt. Sengen – Shonan Daira Lookout (lunch) – Optional walk (about 1.5 hours) – Shonan Daira Lookout – Takada Park  – JR Ooiso Station (about a 7 km walk (with optional hike about 11km)

Shonan Daira has a 360 degree observation park where you can clearly see Mt. Fuji and the ocean at the same time. Bring your lunch, drink. People who don’t go on the optional hike can relax here for a couple of hours.

Mt. Kuratake (Chuo Line) Hiking

Meeting Time/Place: Torisawa Ticket Gate at 9:50 am

Train Schedule: 9:18 Takao Station (JR Chuo Line going towards Kofu) – 9:46 Arrive at Torisawa Station

As trains are running infrequently (the next train arrives 50 minutes later), we won’t be able to wait for latecomers. Please be sure to take this train.

Course: Torisawa Station – Mt. Kuratake  – Yanagawa Station

Walking time: 4.5 hours

Please bring your lunch and drink. Also, please wear proper shoes for hiking.

1) Early Spring Canola Flowers Walk

You can find a carpet of yellow flowers. Also, at the peak, there is an observatory where you can enjoy a panorama of Sagami Bay while enjoying a comfortable sea breeze from Shonan. Here, you can enjoy nature and have a relaxing time.

☆Meeting Time/Place: 10:00 am Tokaido Line Ninomiya Station Ticket Gate

☆Course: Ninomiya Station – Azumayama Park – Ninomiya Station

☆Walking Time: About 1 hour (about 1km) plus a lot of time for
sightseeing so the walk should take about 2 hours.

☆The program is ¥1000.

Mt. Nokogiri & Daffodil Road 

(Intermediate Course)(Participation Fee 1000 yen + 700 yen Nokogiri-yama Entrance Fee) (Cancelled in case of rain)

Meeting place/time: Hamakanaya Station Ticket Gate 10:12 am
Trains (Uchibo Line) are running once an hour, and we cannot wait for the next one.  As we are unable to wait for latecomers, please be sure to take this train.

From JR Kisarazu Station, take the 9:31 
- Uchibo Line going towards KazusaIchinomiya. This arrives at 
Hamakanaya at 10:10.

Walking time: About 5 hours

Course: Hamakanaya Station – Mountain Peak 
(Temple’s Gate) – Sengen Shrine – Hyakushaku Kannon –
 Jigoku Nozoki (Peeping into hell) – Stone Buddha – Daffodil Fields – JR 
Hota Station

A wonderful view of Tokyo Bay from the top and there is the
 Giant Buddha Stone Statue. Near Hota Station, we will walk through the daffodil fields and enjoy 
their heavenly scent.
