Nihon Minka-en (\500)
We go mostly through parks, but there’s also walking on roads.
Walking Time: About 3 Hours (8KM) plus a lot of time for fun, so the hike should take about 5 hours.
The parks we go to have a daffodil garden, an observation platform at the top of Mt. Masugata, a Fountain Square, a Science Center for Youth (which includes a Planetarium, Nihon Minka-en (Japan Open-Air Folk Museum) where there are many Traditional Folk Houses (¥500) and more!!!

Positive Energy Production (PEP)
Each and every one of us harbor great amounts of energy. Then, how is it that we often feel drained? One reason is that we either prevent that energy from coming out (through suppression of our true feelings, for example) or “permit” it to escape in damaging ways – through anger, guilt, and so on.

Meet at 9:25AM at the front main entrance of Tama Zoo’s station (TamaDobutsukoen).

Take the 8:40AM Keio Line express from Shinjuku to Takahatafudo (arriving at 9:13AM) and change to the Keio Dobutsu Line train, leaving Takahatafudo at 9:18 and arriving at Tama Dobutsu Koen Station at 9:22AM. If you would like to participate, please inform David by February 4 so that we can get volunteer insurance.
If you join this event, please bring the following:
Long sleeved shirt and long pants (not shorts), work gloves, towel, and appropriate shoes (trekking shoes or hiking boots) are required.
Please bring whatever you want to eat for lunch, and drinks during the work project.
Harboring resentments consumes a lot of energy. Why waste valuable energy on prolonged anger and guilt, when you could use that energy for far greater things? When you let go of resentment, guilt, and anger, you become revitalized and create space in your soul for growth…. (more…)
