From Ikebukuro, take the Seibu Ikebukuro (Express) Line’s 8:05AM train (going towards Mitsumineguchi and get off at Agano Station, arriving there at 9:15AM.   Make sure to get on this train as we cannot wait for the next one.
 
Please wear appropriate shoes (tennis shoes, hiking boots), bring a lunch to eat on the mountain, and plenty of liquids.
 
Course (from Agano Station): Kaaburi Pass – Kasasugi Pass – Kuroyama Santaki –  Ogose Station (on the Tobu Tojo Line)
 
Walking Time: About 6 hours

Note: Kuroyama Santaki was once a training center for monks who practice asceticism, but now it has become a sightseeing spot for hikers. If you are tired, you can take a bus to the station from there instead of continuing for 2 more hours hiking.
