River Clean Up: 15:00-18:00

RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at DAISHIBASHI Station (Keikyudashi Line) outside the
only
ticket gate at 14:00, and then go to the Tamagawa River and pick
 up
trash along the banks for about 3-3.5 hours with a break in the
middle.

WHAT TO BRING
Wear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wea
r
long pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily
get
cut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is recommended,
especially during the summer months, and please bring lots of liquids
to
drink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually have
some
extra pairs available to loan out. Then please come with proper
footwear
or not sandals and so on.

ADDITIONAL INFO
If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location at
the
river which may vary month by month. Call James (the organizer)
cell
phone 090-1847-5075 if there are any problems finding us.

RAIN
In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled.
Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until
any downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain/strong winds
(e.g.,
typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be
cancelled
 (and
usually moved to a different day).

Let’s have fun enjoying our local nature while making it better at
the
same time.
