1) Kamakura Hiking and Beach
(Participation Fee 1000 yen)(Easy Course) (Will be held even in light rain)

Meeting place and time: At the West ticket gate of Kitakamakura Station (on the Yokosuka Line) at 10:23 am.

Train: From Yokohama Station, take the 10:01 Yokosuka Line train (towards Zushi).  This arrives at Kitakamakura at 10:21.

Course: Kitakamakura Station – Daibutsu Hiking Course (and Genjiyama Park) – “Wash your Money” Cave Shrine – Yuigahama Beach – Kamakura Station

Walking Time: about 4 hours

Please bring your lunch and drinks.

2) Tama River Clean Up
Organized by Tokyo River Friends

Gather at Daishibashi Station: 14:00
River Clean Up: 14:30-18:00
Return to station: 18:30

RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at DAISHIBASHI Station (Keikyudashi Line) outside the only
ticket gate at 14:00, and then go to the Tamagawa River and pick up
trash along the banks for about about 3-3.5 hours with a break in the
middle.

WHAT TO BRING
Wear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wear
long pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily get
cut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is recommended,
especially during the summer months, and please bring lots of liquids to
drink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually have some
extra pairs available to loan out. Then please come with proper footwear
or not sandals and so on.

ADDITIONAL INFO
If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location at the
river which may vary month by month. Call James (the organizer) cell

RAIN
In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled.
Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until
any downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain/strong winds (e.g.,
typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled (and
usually moved to a different day).

Let’s have fun enjoying our local nature while making it better at the
same time.
