It was designated as a “National Historic Site Jindai-ji Castle Ruin” in 2017.
In the early 16th century, the “Age of Civil Wars (Sengoku-period)”, this Jindaiji castle was built by general Oogigaya Uesugi for the battle against general Odawara Hojo.
Some parts remnants of the castle are visible as they left in good shape.
☆The donation will be given to Riasunomori – an organization in Ishinomaki which works for community development.
☆The program is ¥1000. Hot spring ¥900~
☆Meeting Time/Place: 10:00 Seibu Tamagawa Line Tama Station ticket gate
☆Course (about 2 hours): Tama Station – Musahinono-mori Park – Chofu Airport – Jindaiji – Jindai Aquatic Botanical Garden (Jindaiji Castle Ruin) – Yumorinosato Hot Spring – Chofu Station
☆Walking Time: About 1 hour (about 5km) plus a lot of time for sightseeing so the walk should take about 2 hours.
