1) Cherry Viewing Walk (2 parts)
(For  beginners)(Participation Fee: 1000 yen (for one part, or for both)(Canceled in case of rain)

Part 1): Zenpukuji River Walk

Meeting place and time: 9:30 am at Eifukucho Station (Keio Inokashira line) ticket gate

Course: Eifukucho Station (Keio Inokashira Line) – Ryukoji Temple – Wada Bori Park – Zenpukuji Green Park  – Hamadayama Station (Keio Inokashira Line)

Walking Time: About 2 hours (5.5 km)

Bring your lunch and drinks.

Part 2): Kanda River “Full of Cherry Blossoms” Walk

Meeting place and time: 11:45 am at Hamadayama Station (Keio Inokashira Line) ticket gate

Course : Hamadayama Station – Tsukayama Park (Lunch) – Walk along the Kanda River (full of Cherry Trees) – Inokashira Park

We will have a cherry blossom viewing party in the park after the walk (probably from about 4:00 pm).

2) Arakawa River Clean Up
Organized by Tokyo River Friends

SCHEDULE

Gather at Nishi Kasai Station: 13:00
Gather riverside 13:30
Finishing up: 17:30

RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at NISHI KASAI Station (Tozai Line) outside the
only
ticket gate, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash
along
the banks for about about 3 5 to 4 hours.

ADDITIONAL INFO
If you come late, it will be about a 25 min. walk to
our
location not far from the Kasaibashi Bridge in the upstream
direction.

RAIN
In the event of light or medium rain this event will
NOT
be cancelled. Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter
(under
a bridge) until any downpours let up. In the event of
heavy
rain/strong winds (e.g., typhoon conditions) or lightning then the
event
will be cancelled (and usually moved to a different day).
