The Yokohama Bay Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge. There is an observation deck and a walking path “SkyWalk” , where you can see the force and scenery of a large passenger ship passing by. The pedestrian path is open only on one side. You can walk across the bridge for free. It’s a superb view spot.

Gather at Myoden Station (Tozai Line) outside the only ticket gate,

then go to the Edogawa River and pick up trash along the banks for
about 3.5 to 4 hours.

to the
Myoden Bridge, cross it, and enter the riverside path on the
embankment.
Then head in the direction of Tokyo Bay until you see us

RAIN
In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled
as we will move to and from the river by car and we can clean up

cover the bay front bridges as a Plan B as well as adjacent areas.

lightning then the event will be cancelled.

1) Okutama Therapy Road Walk – The weather forecast predicts light rain, but the event will still be held.

Train: Be sure to arrive on this train as we will be unable to wait for the
next one, since we take the 10:05 bus to Okutama Lake.

2) Okutama Camping (※Reservations must be made individually / Deadline on June 12 (Thursday))
★ Location: Okutama Hikawa Campground
If you are joining us on a walk earlier in the day, we will check-in to the campsite before 4 pm. There are lockers at Okutama station.

Please make sure to inform Miki at seitansai1335@yahoo.co.jp once your reservation has been placed. For those who reserve, Miki will contact the campground to let them know they are part of the same group (so we can be together). There is a limit of 15 people per group according to the campground rules. Also, the campground does fill up so the earlier you reserve the better. We will announce here that we are no longer accepting reservations once the number reaches 15.
★ Food and Equipment
Each individual is responsible for their own food (including preparation) and equipment. Please make sure to bring and prepare for your own food/items for this day. There is a convenience store located about 15 minutes’ walk from the campground. The campground also offers a variety of rental items. gate, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the banks
for about about 3 5 to 4 hours with a break in the middle
WHAT TO BRING
Wear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wear
long pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily get
cut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is recommended,
especially during the summer months, and please bring lots of liquids to
drink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually have some
extra pairs available to loan out.
ADDITIONAL INFO
If you come late, it will be about a 25 min. walk to our location on
the island under the elevated C2 highway between the Kasaibashi Bridge
iand the Shinjuku Line train bridge but much closer to the Shinjjuk Line
Bridge. Call my cell phone 090-1847-5075 if there are any problems
finding us.

1) Oze Asian Skunk Cabbage Hike

The largest highland marshland is known for alpine plants such as the Asian skunk cabbage. The threshold is a bit far, but this course is good even for children and seniors.
