The film features Lhamo Tso, a woman whose husband is a political prisoner in China. She escapes with their four children and husband’s parents to Dharamsala, India, home in exile of the Dalai Lama and a large community of Tibetans, many of whom have made the same treacherous journey over the Himalayas.
