1) Minobusan Hiking

Let’s admire the view from the top of Mt. Minobu(1153m) easily by taking a ropeway. We visit a spiritually powerful spots as well.

☆Course: Minobusan Bus Stop -(0:20)- San-mon Temple Gate – Five-storied Pagoda – Minobusan Kuonji Temple – Kuonji Station -ropeway- Okunoin Station – Arboretum – Okunoin Shishinkaku Hall – Senbonsugi – Founder’s Heritage Site – Minobusan Bus Stop

☆Bus ※Reservation must be made.: If you are coming from Shinjuku, take the 7:45 Yamanashi Kotsu Bus [Minobu South Alps ⇔ Shinjuku Line] from Busta Shinjuku. This bus arrives at Minobusan Bus Stop at 11:26.

☆Hiking Time: Approximately 2hours (about 5km) plus time for rest and sightseeing so the hike should take around 3.5 hours.

☆Bus ※Reservation must be made.: If you are going back to Shinjuku, take the Yamanashi Kotsu Bus [Minobu South Alps ⇔ Shinjuku Line] 15:19 from Minobusan Bus Stop. This bus arrives at Busta Shinjuku at 18:51.

2) Edogawa River Clean Up
Organized by Tokyo River Friends

SCHEDULE
Gather at Myoden Station: 14:30
Riverside Meetup: 15:00
Return to station: 18:30

RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at Myoden Station (Tozai Line) outside the only ticket gate,
and
then go to the Edogawa River and pick up trash along the banks for
about 3.5 to 4 hours.

INFO
If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location
behind
 Clean Center (incineration plant) and the Clean Spa. First walk
to the
 Myoden Bridge, cross it, and enter the riverside path on the
embankment.
 Then head in the direction of Tokyo Bay until you see us
along the water
line. Also call James (the organizer) cell phone
090-1847-5075 if there 
are any problems finding us.

RAIN
In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled
as we will move to and from the river by car and we can clean up
under
cover the bay front bridges as a Plan B as well as adjacent
areas.
 In 
the event of heavy rain/strong winds (e.g., typhoon
conditions) or
 lightning then the event will be cancelled.
