1) Let’s Walk along Yokohama Bay Bridge
(Easy)(￥1000 Participation Fee) (Cancelled in case of heavy rain)
The Yokohama Bay Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge. There is an observation deck and a walking path “SkyWalk” , where you can see the force and scenery of a large passenger ship passing by. The pedestrian path is open only on one side. You can walk across the bridge for free. It’s a superb view spot.

☆Walking Time: Less 1 hour (about 1km) plus a lot of time for sightseeing so the walk should take about 2 hours. You can buy food and drink on the way.

2) Arakawa River Clean Up

Gather at FUNABORI Station: 13:00
Gather riverside 13:30
Finishing up: 17:00
RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the only ticket
gate, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the banks
for about about 3 5 to 4 hours with a break in the middle.
WHAT TO BRING
Wear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wear
long pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily get
cut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is recommended,
especially during the summer months, and please bring lots of liquids
to
drink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually have some
extra pairs available to loan out.
ADDITIONAL INFO
If you come late, it will be about a 25 min. walk to our location on
the island under the elevated C2 highway between the Kasaibashi
Bridge
iand the Shinjuku Line train bridge but much closer to the
Shinjuku Line

RAIN
In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled.
Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until
any downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain/strong winds (e.g.,
typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled.
