★This course is for physically fit people.  Please make sure to wear hiking shoes.

1) Tanzawa Hiking – Mt. Furou
(Cancelled in case of rain)(1000yen)(DIFFICULT intermediate)

Meeting place and time: Suruga-Oyama Station Ticket Gate 9:47

Train: Shinjuku (Odakyu line train going to Odawara) 8:01 – Shinmatsuda (arrives at 9:16) –  Matsuda Station (JR Gotemba Line – leaves at 9:27) –  Suruga-Oyama Station – 9:45 arrival

Course: Suruga-Oyama station – Mt. Furou-yama (928m) – Mt. Taniga – Suruga-Oyama station

Expected walking time: 5.5 hours

Please bring your lunch and drinks.

2) Arakawa River Clean Up
Organized by Tokyo River Friends

Gather at FUNABORI Station: 10:00
Gather riverside 10:30
Lunch riverside 12:00-12:45
Finishing up: 14:30

RIVER CLEAN UP

Gather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the only
ticket
gate, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along
the banks
for about about 3 5 to 4 hours.

ADDITIONAL INFO

If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location at
the
dirty angle between the Shinjuku train line bridge and the
Kasaibashi
Bridge but much closer to the Shinjuku train line bridge.

RAIN

In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be
cancelled.
Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a
bridge) until
any downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain/strong
winds (e.g.,
typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be
cancelled (and
usually moved to a different day).
