(1) Ashigara Hiking (Intermediate)(Participation Fee 1000 yen) (Cancelled in case of rain)
Meeting place and time: At the ticket gate of Suruga-oyama Station on the Gotemba Line at 10:57 am
Train:（if you are coming from Shinjuku),take the 9:01 express Odakyuu Line train (going towards Odawara) to Shin-Matsuda (arriving at 10:22). Walk to Matsuda Station (which has the JR Gotemba Line) and get on the 10:33 train. This train arrives at Suruga-oyama at 10:54
(DEFINITELY get on this train!!! We can’t wait for the next one and are not able to attend to late comers since they are infrequent)
Please bring your lunch and drink (There are no stores near the station).
Course: Suruga-oyama station – Takisawa forest path – Ashigara Pass – Ashigara Station (on the Gotemba Line). Walking time is about 4 hours (13 km)
If the weather is good, we have a good view of Mt. Fuji.
●Requests to the participants
1) Wearing a mask and keep social distance
When you are near other people or talking with others, please wear the mask. Remember to keep both mouth and nose covered except when you start to feel sick or have a problem breathing.
2) Physical Condition
If you are feeling feverish or feel unwell, please refrain from joining the event.
3) If you are tested positive for Corona after the event, please let us know so we can inform others.
(2) Game Night (Buy one drink)
It’s a casual board game event. Let’s play various games together.
It’s OK to come late or leave early. Feel free to join us. Beginners are welcome.

(3)Arakawa River Clean Up
Gather at Funabori Station: 13:00
Go to the river 13:10
River Clean Up: 13:30-17:00
Relaxing riverside: 17:00-17:30
Return to station: 17:30
RIVER CLEAN UP:
Gather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the ticket gate at 13:00, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the river bank for about about 3 to 3 and half hours.
INFO:
If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location on the river at the waterline between the Shinjuku Line train bridge and the Kasaibashi Bridge. Also call James (the organizer) 090-1847-5075 if there are any problems finding us.
RAIN:
In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled as we will use rain ware and take cover as necessary. In the event of heavy rain/strong winds (e.g., typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled or stopped if already in progress. Let’s have fun enjoying our local nature while making it better at the same time.
