1) Mt. Mitsumine Hike in Tanzawa – Due to bad weather (which would make dangerous conditions on this difficult hike), the hike in canceled. 

Instead, we will do a green road walk (for free) for Yoyogi-Shimokitazawa-NakaMeguro-Yoga, meeting at Yoyogi Station’s West exit at 10:00 am. Please join if you can.

Meeting place and time: At the ticket gate of Hon-Atsugi (Central Exit) at 9:30 am

Train: If you are going from Shinjuku, take the Odakyuu Line (Express going towards Odawara) from Shinjuku at 8:40 , arriving at Hon-Atsugi at 9:28

And then we will take a bus at 9:40 from Hon-Atsugi Station.  The bus is running VERY INFREQUENTLY  (once an hour) and we can’t attend to latecomers.  Please make sure to arrive on time.

Bus: 9:40 bus going towards Miyagase, getting off at Susugaya (at 10:12).

Course – Susugaya Bus Stop – Mt. Mitsumine – Koutakiji Onsen Iriguchi – Hon-Atsugi Station (by bus)

Walking Time: about 5.5 Hours

Bring your own beverages and lunch.  Please make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes. There is an a springs at the end, so if you want to go there (this is not the part of the event), bring towel and a change of clothes.

2) Arakawa River Clean Up
Organized by Tokyo River Friends

Gather at Funabori Station: 13:00
Gather riverside:  13:30
River Clean Up: 13:00-17:30

RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the ticket gate at
13:00, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the
 river bank for about 3.5 to 4 hours.

ADDITIONAL INFO
If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location
 between the Shinjuku Line train bridge and the Kasaibashi Bridge. Also
 call James (the organizer) cell phone 090-1847-5075 if there are any 
problems finding us.

RAIN
In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled.
Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until
 any downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain/strong
 winds 
(e.g.,typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be
cancelled 
(and usually moved to a different day).
