The area is strewn with around 1.2 million fairy lights giving an extra special winter feel.  Let’s check out the light displays together.

☆Meeting Time/Place:  15:45 JR Tokyo Station Marunouchi South Ticket Gate

☆Course:  Tokyo Station –  Marunouchi Nakadori  – Yurakucho Station

☆Walking Time: About 1 hour (about 5km) plus a lot of time for
sightseeing so the walk should take about 2 hours.

2) Arakawa River Clean Up

Organized by Tokyo River Friends

Gather at FUNABORI Station: 13:00
Gather riverside 13:30
Finishing up: 17:00

RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the only
 ticket
gate, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along 
the
banks for about 3.5 to 4 hours.

ADDITIONAL INFO
If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location at
the
 dirty angle between the Shinjuku train line bridge and
the
Kasaibashi
 Bridge but much closer to the Shinjuku train line
bridge.
 Call the  organizer  (James 090-1847-5075) if there are any
problems 
finding us.

RAIN
In the event of light or medium rain, this event will NOT be
cancelled.
Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under
 a
bridge) until
 any downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain/strong
winds (e.g.,
typhoon conditions) or lightning, then the event will be
cancelled (and 
usually moved to a different day).
