1) Chichibu Hike & Spider Lily Fields
(Beginner Course) (1000 yen Participation fee + 500 yen Spider Lily Fields Entrance Fee) (Cancelled in case of rain)

Meeting Place/Time: Hanno Station ticket gate at 10:40

Train: If you are going from Ikebukuro, take the Seibu Ikebukuro (Express) Line’s 9:50 train and get off at Hanno Station, arriving there at 10:38.

Course： Hanno Station  ⇒ Miyazawa Lake ⇒ Koma Pass ⇒ Kinchakuda (near Kori River where we see the incredible Spider Lily Fields) ⇒ (Swimming in the river) ⇒ Koma Station.

Walking Time: About 3 hours.

Please bring your lunch and drinks.

If you want to swim after a hike in the river , please bring your swim suit.

2) Arakawa River Clean Up

Gather riverside 10:30
Finishing up: 14:30

RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside
the
only
ticket
gate,
and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up
trash
along
the banks
for
about about 3 5 to 4 hours.

ADDITIONAL INFO
If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to
our
location
at
the
dirty angle between the Shinjuku train line
bridge
and
the
Kasaibashi
Bridge but much closer to the Shinjuku
train
line
bridge.

any
problems
finding us.

RAIN
In the event of light or medium rain this event
will
NOT
be
cancelled.
Please bring rain gear and we will take
shelter
(under
a
bridge) until
any downpours let up. In the event
of
heavy
rain/strong
winds (e.g.,
typhoon conditions) or lightning then
the
event
will be
cancelled (and
usually moved to a different day).
