1) Mt. Takao/1000 cherry trees Hike
(Participation fee 1000 yen) (Intermediate course) (Cancelled in case
of rain)

Meeting Place/Time:  The ticket gate for Takao-sanguchi Station on
the
Keio Line at 9:25 am

Please be sure to come to the meeting place at the appointed time.

Train:  From Kitano Station, take the 9:10 Keio Line train towards
Takaosanguchi, arriving at 9:23

Course:  Takao-sanguchi Station – Mt. Inari – IcchoDaira 1000 cherry trees (Lunch) – Mt. Takao – Takaosanguchi Station

Walking time:  5 hours

Please bring your own lunch and drinks for lunch, also wear good hiking shoes.

2) Arakawa River Clean Up

Organized by Tokyo River Friends

Gather at Nishi Kasai Station: 13:00
Gather riverside 13:30
Finishing up: 17:30

RIVER CLEAN UP
Gather at NISHI KASAI Station (Tozai Line) outside the
only
ticket gate, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash
along
the banks for about about 3 5 to 4 hours.

ADDITIONAL INFO
If you come late, it will be about a 25 min. walk to
our
location not far from the Kasaibashi Bridge in the upstream
direction.

RAIN
In the event of light or medium rain this event will
NOT
be cancelled. Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter
(under
a bridge) until any downpours let up. In the event of
heavy
rain/strong winds (e.g., typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event
will be cancelled (and usually moved to a different day).
