Mt. Akagi is one of Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains. Just have a breathtaking view from Jizodake Peak. You can enjoy alpine plants around Kakumanbuchi Marsh.

☆Course: Maebashi Station 10:35(dpt) -bus- 11:41(arr) Shin-Sakadaira-(0:55)- Jizodake -(0:30)- Konumatoge -(0:05)-Konumatoge Junction-(0:20)- Toriitoge -(0:20)- Visitor Center 15:15(dpt) -bus- 16:35(arr)- Maebashi Station

☆Train: If you are coming from Tokyo, take the 7:51 JR Tokaido Main Line (Ueno Tokyo Line) train from Tokyo Station (going towards Takasaki).

This arrives at Takasaki Station at 9:44. Take the 10:07 Ryomo Line train going towards Isezaki. This train arrives at Maebashi Station at 10:21.

☆Hiking Time: About 2 hours and 10 minutes (5km) plus time for rest so the hike should take about 3 and half hours.
