Take the 10:02AM Chuo Line Express train from Shinjuku Station. This arrives at Musashi Koganei at 10:24.

This is an 8 km course that runs through the suburbs and about 2/3 of the walk is along the Nogawa River. We finish up at Jindai Botanical Park, where there’s a Spring Rose Festival. The entrance fee to the park is ￥５００ for adults, ￥５００ for those over 65 and ￥５００ those 15 years and younger.
