A Fun Earth Day Bicycle Ride & BBQ lunch – Touring Mitaka and Musashino by Bike!!(Participation Fee: ¥1,000) (Easy Course) (Canceled in case of rain)
★ Bicycle rental reservation required
★ Even if you are bringing your own bicycle, please let us know if you plan to join so we can prepare accordingly for the BBQ.
Let’s take a leisurely ride starting from JR Mitaka Station and visit parks and an airfield in Musashino, ending with a BBQ! (BBQ-only participation is not allowed, only those joining the bicycle ride may attend). Come enjoy a fun cycling trip while feeling the spring breeze.
★For those who need to rent a bicycle (reservation required):
– Please make a reservation by Thursday, April 17, by 5 pm by contacting MIKI at seitansai1335@yahoo.co.jp (Make sure your email settings allow replies from this address.)
– Rental fee: ¥300 (please bring exact change if possible)
– We will make a group reservation at Suzukake Bicycle Parking Lot.
– Meet at 9:30 am at Mitaka Station South Exit Plaza (near the Tamagawa Josui Bridge). Staff will be waiting there and will guide everyone to the bicycle lot.
★ For those bringing their own bicycle:
– Please meet at 10 am at Mitaka Station South Exit Plaza.
Route: Mitaka Station → Chofu Airfield → Nogawa Park (BBQ) → Jindaiji → Inokashira Park (expected to finish around 3 pm)
After everyone has gathered, the staff will explain the route, and we will start the ride at 10:30 am.
Please bring your own lunch, drinks, and a picnic sheet. The BBQ equipment (charcoal, grill, etc.) will be prepared by the staff, but please bring your own food (You will have to take your trash home with you). Food and drinks can also be purchased along the way. Helmets are recommended for all riders.
Our final destination is Inokashira Park, but we’ll enjoy a BBQ party at Nogawa Park on the way. After that, you’re free to leave whenever you like.

for about about 3 5 to 4 hours with a break in the middle.
WHAT TO BRING
Wear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wear
long pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily get
cut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is
recommended,
especially during the summer months, and please bring lots
of liquids to
drink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually
have some
extra pairs available to loan out.

on
the island under the elevated C2 highway walking from the Kasaibashi
Bridge under the Tozai Line bridge to the end of the pod section. Call

After that, we will walk around Yasukuni Shrine and the moat area to see the nighttime cherry trees.
Those meeting at 6:00 will shop at the nearby convenience store. Those coming afterwards, please bring some snacks/drinks. If you come late, please go to the Kita no Maru Park (next to the pond) which is past the Budokan on the right side.
