Many JAMBO members have expressed their desire to help those affected by the earthquake and its related disasters, so we collected a group of places and organizations where you can donate and volunteer. Please take a look at this page periodically to check updates, and feel free to directly contact the group which is of interest to you.

Some people from the Tohoku area are seeking refuge in Tokyo and may be in need of shelter or various necessities. If you know anyone in such a situation, please don’t hesitate to contact JAMBO (jambodave@green.email.ne.jp) and let us know what is needed. David will try to find someone in the JAMBO network and will put this information up on the JAMBO bulletin board. Many JAMBO members have expressed their desire to help those affected by this multiple disaster, so let’s give them a chance to help. (more…)
We, the staff at JAMBO, feel great sorrow for those affected by the earthquake and its after-effects. In the spirit of the action-orientation which JAMBO believes in, we will continue our activities as planned and donate all funds collected over the next month to the earthquake relief efforts. On Monday, 100,000 Yen of JAMBO funds were donated to the Tohoku-Kanto Big Earthquake Community Chest (Chouou Kyoudou Bokinkai Touhoku Kantou Daishinsai Gienkai). These funds come from you, the participants of JAMBO, and another donation will be made in the middle of April.
If you wish to make donations to the earthquake relief efforts personally, they can be made through your local post office.
Thank you for being a part of “helping others” affected by this disaster through your participation in JAMBO.
