We are now in the midst of rainy season here in Japan, dreaded by many because of the humidity, mold, and unpleasant outings. Yet, the plants rejoice with the regular waterings and the animals celebrate being able to drink whenever they please. In most parts of the world, nature is not so blessed, and periodically suffer from thirst and die due to lack of this life source. In a country so blessed with water, we humans tend to forget how very fortunate we are to have fresh, clean water everywhere (one of Japan’s many wonders).
May we keep in mind this miracle without which life would be impossible. And welcome the gift from the skies on rainy days. In short, to always be appreciative with each drink and each bath for this mysterious wonder which gives us life – THE GIFT OF WATER!
