We all have times when we are too busy to fully appreciate the good things around us, or when we feel down for whatever reason, causing us to see only the darkness. When we finally get more time, or start feeling the light start to re-enter our life, it’s good to take time and become fully aware of the incredible events taking place around us, especially in this beautiful season of spring.

My question for you is “How can we not believe in miracles when nature is pulling off one after another endlessly?” Look at the lowly crab, who grows out of its home (shell) only to construct one by itself again. Or the often despised spider, who spins a web, the threads which are stronger than steel (weight for weight). Bees that can navigate without maps. Termite towers (of mud) which keep a steady temperature. Those ugly, furry worms (caterpillars), which build a cocoon to emerge as beautiful butterflies. And, most mysterious of all, green immobile life (plants) which grows from “non-life” (water and soil), and makes food from “non-matter” (sunlight). I myself don’t believe anyone could write a fictional book with more surprises.

This is only a tiny list of examples. Miracles abound around us, seen and unseen. If we just learn to open our eyes and our hearts, their wonder can only instill a deep sense of humility, awe, and gratitude for this incredible planet called EARTH. FEEL THE SPIRIT!!!
