Private houses in the area typically have a collection of bonsai in their gardens. We will take the 9:46 bus from there (18 minutes).<\/p>\n<p>Please wear long pants and long-sleeved shirt and exercise shoes.<br \/>\nPlease bring your own drinks, food (for lunch) and work gloves.<\/p>\n<p>Work hours; 10:00 &#8211; 15:30<br \/>\nInformation (in Japanese): http:\/\/www.foejapan.org\/satoyama\/activity\/index.html<\/p>\n<p>3) Arakawa River Clean Up<\/p>\n<p>Details<\/p>\n<p>Gather at Funabori Station: 13:00<br \/>\nGo to the river 13:10<br \/>\nRiver Clean Up: 13:30-16:30<br \/>\nRelaxing riverside: 16:30-17:00<br \/>\nReturn to station by Car: 17:00-17:15<\/p>\n<p>RIVER CLEAN UP<\/p>\n<p>Gather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the ticket gate at\u00a013:00, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the\u00a0river bank for about about 3 to 3 and half hours.<\/p>\n<p>TARGET AREA<\/p>\n<p>We will clean the backside of the Nakade roughly between the Funabori Bridge and the Nishi Kasai Bridge.<\/p>\n<p>MORNING SESSION (optional)<\/p>\n<p>As I will be on the river in the morning doing some scouting and<\/p>\n<p>precleaning, people, who may not be free in the afternoon, are welcome\u00a0to join me at that time. Please go directly to the river as well as call\u00a0James (the organizer) (090-1847-5075) to coordinate a meeting place.<\/p>\n<p>INFO:<\/p>\n<p>If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location on the<\/p>\n<p>river at the waterline between the Shinjuku Line train bridge and the<\/p>\n<p>Kasaibashi Bridge.
