<Requests to the participants>>
\n\u25cbMake sure to wear masks when indoors (on the train, in shops, etc). Also, after the event, when eating or drinking on the train, please make sure to keep the mask on after each time you eat or drink (don\u2019t keep it off). Remember to keep both both mouth and nose covered, not hanging under the chin.
\n\u25cbIn order to continue sustainable activities, we\u2019d like to ask to keep social distancing and avoid close, group gatherings. If you have any symptom, please refrain from joining.
\n\u25cbIn order to avoid crowding at supermarkets and convenient stores, please\u00a0bring your lunch with you to the meeting place. We will not stop at any\u00a0stores after meeting.<\/p>\n
1) Okutama Waterfall Hiking

\n9:08 Leave Shinjuku Station on the Chuo Line Express to Oume
\n10:07 Arrive at Oume Station, cross the platform and take the Oume Line train
\n10:13 Depart Oume station (train going towards Okutama)
\n10:43 (or 42) Arrive at Kori<\/p>\n
Course: Kori Station \u2013 Oonara Pass \u2013 Mitsukama Waterfalls (swim) \u2013

The walking time will be about 5 hours.
\nBring your own beverages and lunch (We won\u2019t stop by any stores after meeting) and wear proper hiking shoes. If you want to swim, please bring swimwear and a towel.<\/p>\n
2) Arakawa River Clean up<\/p>\n
Gather at NISHI KASAI Station: 13:00
\nGo to the river 13:10
\nRiver Clean Up: 13:30-16:30
\nRelaxing riverside: 16:30-17:00
\nReturn to station: 17:00-17:15<\/p>\n
RIVER CLEAN UP
\nGather at NISHI KASAI Station (Tozai Line) outside the ticket gate at 13:00, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the river bank for about about 3 to 3.5 hours.<\/p>\n
MORNING SESSION (optional)
\nAs I will be on the river in the morning doing some scouting and precleaning, people, who may not be free in the afternoon, are welcome to join me at that time. Please go directly to the river as well as call the organizer (James at 090-1847-5075) to coordinate a meeting place.<\/p>\n
INFO:
\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location on the back side of the Nakade island between the Kasaibashi Bridge and the Shinjuku Line train bridge but closer to the Kasaibashi Bridge. Also call James if there are any problems finding us.<\/p>\n
RAIN:
\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled as we will use rain ware and take cover as necessary. In the event of heavy rain\/strong winds (e.g., typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled or stopped if already in progress.<\/p>\n
