Train Information: As the trains are infrequent, we can’t wait for the next train. \u00a0Please arrive by this time.<\/p>\n
From Ikebukuro, take the\u00a0Seibu Ikebukuro\u00a0(Express) Line’s 8:50 am train\u00a0and get off at\u00a0Hanno Station, arriving there at 9:37 am. Change to the\u00a0Seibu Chichibu Line bound for Seibu-chichibu\u00a0(across the platform), taking the 9:43 am train.\u00a0 This\u00a0arrives at\u00a0Ashigakubo at 10:28 am.<\/p>\n

Walking time: About\u00a05 hours<\/p>\n

RIVER CLEAN UP
\nGather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the ticket gate at\u00a013:00, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the\u00a0river bank for about about 3 to 3 and half hours.<\/p>\n
MORNING SESSION (optional)
\nAs I will be on the river in the morning doing some scouting and
\nprecleaning, people, who may not be free in the afternoon, are welcome\u00a0to join me at that time. Please go directly to the river as well as call\u00a0James (the organizer) (090-1847-5075) to coordinate a meeting place.<\/p>\n
INFO:
\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location on the
\nriver at the waterline between the Shinjuku Line train bridge and the
\nKasaibashi Bridge. Also call James cell phone 090-1847-5075 if there are
\nany problems finding us.<\/p>\n
RAIN:
\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled as\u00a0we will use rain ware and take cover as necessary. In the event of heavy\u00a0rain\/strong winds (e.g., typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event\u00a0will be cancelled or stopped if already in progress.<\/p>\n
