{"id":6953,"date":"2019-04-28T09:19:31","date_gmt":"2019-04-28T09:19:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jambointernational.org\/?p=6953"},"modified":"2019-04-21T22:21:02","modified_gmt":"2019-04-21T22:21:02","slug":"environmental-project-at-tama-zoo-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jambointernational.org\/en\/environmental-project-at-tama-zoo-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Environmental Project at Tama Zoo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This day\u2019s main work is preparing for Japanese mushroom cultivation.<\/p>\n<p>The main types of work are cutting down weeds and bamboo grass, cutting down old trees, making paths or sometimes keeping track of the various species in the area (the work varies depending on the day).<\/p>\n<p>(Cancelled in case of 70% or more chance of rain)<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>9:30AM &#8211; 3:00PM<\/p>\n<p>Cost: FREE<\/p>\n<p>We meet at 9:30AM at the front main entrance of Tama Zoo\u2019s Station (Tama Dobutsukoen).<\/p>\n<p>Take the 8:43AM Keio Line Semi-express from Shinjuku to Takahatafudo (arriving at 9:21AM) and change to the Keio Dobutsu Koen Line train, leaving Takahatafudo at 9:24 and arriving at Tama Dobutsu Koen Station\u00a0 at 9:28AM.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to participate, please inform David by April 25 (Thursday) so that we can get volunteer insurance. If you join this event, please\u00a0bring the following: Long sleeved shirt and long pants (not shorts),\u00a0work gloves, towel, and appropriate shoes (trekking shoes or hiking\u00a0boots) are required.<\/p>\n<p>Please bring whatever you want to eat for lunch, and drinks during the work project.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This day\u2019s main work is preparing for Japanese mushroom cultivation.
