TRF will be joining World Cleanup Day again this year. To coincide with
\nthe official UN\u2011designated International WCD on September 20, we will be
\nholding an additional cleanup session along the Arakawa River.\u2028We warmly

\nGather at Funabori Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the only ticket gate,
\nand then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the banks for
\nabout 3.5 to 4 hours with a break in the middle<\/p>\n
\nWear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wear
\nlong pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily get
\ncut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is recommended,
\nespecially during the summer months, and please bring lots of liquids to
\ndrink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually have some
\nextra pairs available to loan out. Then please come with proper footwear
\nor not sandals and so on.<\/p>\n
\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25 min. walk to our location on
\nthe island under the elevated C2 highway between the Kasaibashi Bridge
\nand the Shinjuku Line train bridge but much closer to the Shinjuku Line
\nBridge. Call James’ (the organizer) cell phone (090-1847-5075) if there
\nare any problems finding us.<\/p>\n
\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled.
\nPlease bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until
\nany downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain\/strong winds (e.g.,
\ntyphoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled (and
\nusually moved to a different day).\u2028 Let\u2019s have fun enjoying our local
