This arrives at Mitake at 9:55.<\/p>\n<p>Optional Activities:<br \/>\n&#8211; Learn about the Mitake Eco Project (regenerate a Wildflower Park)<br \/>\n&#8211; Hike (or take a cable car) up to the famous Mitake Shrine<br \/>\n&#8211; Picnic (BRING YOUR OWN FOOD AND DRINK) with a group of fun people<br \/>\n&#8211; Rope handling and knot tying lessons<br \/>\n&#8211; Swim in the Tama River<br \/>\n&#8211; \u201cBunco\u201d (dice game) (for those staying until the evening) (Contact Michiyo at mofosho76#gmail.com (Please change # to @) for more details)<\/p>\n<p>Bring lunch and drinks (for picnic lunch) since there is no store that sells food and snack near Mitake station, as well as a swimsuit and towel (for those who want to swim).<\/p>\n<p>The participation fee will be donated to <a href=\"https:\/\/mirai-no-mori.jp\">Mirai-no-mori<\/a> (empowering marginalized youth in the outdoors).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2) Tama River Clean Up<br \/>\nOrganized by Tokyo River Friends<\/p>\n<p>Gather at Daishibashi Station: 14:30<br \/>\nRiver Clean Up: 15:00-18:00<br \/>\nReturn to station: 18:30<\/p>\n<p>RIVER CLEAN UP<br \/>\nGather at DAISHIBASHI Station (Keikyudashi Line) outside the \u2028only<br \/>\nticket gate at 14:00, and then go to the Tamagawa River and pick\u2028 up<br \/>\ntrash along the banks for about 3-3.5 hours with a break in the \u2028middle.<\/p>\n<p>WHAT TO BRING<br \/>\nWear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wear<br \/>\nlong pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily \u2028get<br \/>\ncut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is recommended,<br \/>\nespecially during the summer months, and please bring lots of liquids<br \/>\nto\u2028 drink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually have some<br \/>\nextra pairs available to loan out. Then please come with proper<br \/>\nfootwear\u2028or not sandals and so on.<\/p>\n<p>ADDITIONAL INFO<br \/>\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location at the<br \/>\nriver which may vary month by month. Call James (the organizer)<br \/>\ncell\u2028phone 090-1847-5075 if there are any problems finding us.<\/p>\n<p>RAIN<br \/>\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled.<br \/>\nPlease bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until<br \/>\nany downpours let up.
