Meeting place and time: At the West ticket gate of Kitakamakura Station (on the Yokosuka Line) at 10:23 am.<\/p>\n
Train: From Yokohama Station, take the 10:01 Yokosuka Line train (towards Zushi).\u00a0 This arrives at Kitakamakura at 10:21.<\/p>\n
Course: Kitakamakura Station \u2013 Daibutsu Hiking Course (and Genjiyama Park) \u2013 \u201cWash your Money\u201d Cave Shrine \u2013 Yuigahama Beach \u2013 Kamakura Station<\/p>\n
Walking Time: about 4 hours<\/p>\n
Please bring your lunch and drinks.<\/p>\n

2) Tama River Clean Up
\nOrganized by Tokyo River Friends<\/p>\n
Gather at Daishibashi Station: 14:00
\nRiver Clean Up: 14:30-18:00
\nReturn to station: 18:30<\/p>\n
RIVER CLEAN UP
\nGather at DAISHIBASHI Station (Keikyudashi Line) outside the only
\nticket gate at 14:00, and then go to the Tamagawa River and pick up
\ntrash along the banks for about about 3-3.5 hours with a break in the
\nmiddle.<\/p>\n
WHAT TO BRING
\nWear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wear
\nlong pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily get
\ncut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is recommended,
\nespecially during the summer months, and please bring lots of liquids to
\ndrink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually have some
\nextra pairs available to loan out. Then please come with proper footwear
\nor not sandals and so on.<\/p>\n
ADDITIONAL INFO
\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location at the
\nriver which may vary month by month. Call James (the organizer) cell
\nphone 090-1847-5075 if there are any problems finding us.<\/p>\n
RAIN
\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled.
\nPlease bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until
\nany downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain\/strong winds (e.g.,
\ntyphoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled (and
\nusually moved to a different day).<\/p>\n
