RIVER CLEAN UP
\nGather at Funabori Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the only ticket
\ngate,\u2028 and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the
\nbanks for\u2028 about 3.5 to 4 hours with a break in the middle.<\/p>\n
WHAT TO BRING
\nWear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wear
\nlong pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily get
\ncut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is recommended,
\nespecially during the summer months, and please bring lots of liquids
\nto\u2028 drink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually have some
\nextra pairs available to loan out. Then please come with proper
\nfootwear\u2028 or not sandals and so on.<\/p>\n

\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25 min. walk to our location on
\nthe island under the elevated C2 highway between the Kasaibashi Bridge
\nand the Shinjuku Line train bridge but much closer to the Shinjuku
\nLine\u2028Bridge. Call James (the organizer\u2019s) cell phone 090-1847-5075 if

RAIN
\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled.
\nPlease bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until
\nany downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain\/strong winds
\n(e.g.,\u2028typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled
\n(and\u2028 usually moved to a different day).<\/p>\n
