RIVER CLEAN UP<\/p>\n
Gather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the only ticket\u2028gate, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the banks \u2028for about 3 5 to 4 hours with a break in the middle.<\/p>\n
WHAT TO BRING<\/p>\n
Wear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wear\u2028long pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily get\u2028 cut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is recommended, \u2028especially during the summer months, and please bring lots of liquids to \u2028drink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually have some\u2028 extra pairs available to loan out.<\/p>\n

If you come late, it will be about a 25 min. walk to our location on\u2028the island under the elevated C2 highway between the Kasaibashi Bridge\u2028 and the Shinjuku Line train bridge but much closer to the Shinjjuk Line \u2028Bridge. In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled.\u2028 Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until\u2028 any downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain\/strong winds (e.g.,\u2028typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled.<\/p>\n
