Ooyama &amp; Spider Lilies Hiking<br \/>\n(Participation Fee 1000yen, Intermediate Course, Canceled in case of rain)<\/p>\n<p>Meeting Time &amp; Place: 8:47 am at Hadano Station Ticket Gate<br \/>\n<strong>Please be on time, as we\u2019ll be taking the bus (details below)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Train: Shinjuku Departure (Odakyu Line Express) 7:41 \u2192 Hadano Arrival 8:45<\/p>\n<p><strong>We will take the 9:04 (#21) bus (going to Yabitsu Pass \/ 48 minutes) outside Hadano Station. This bus is the final one to get there. There are no more buses for<\/strong> <strong>Yabitsu Pass after this one.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hadano Station &#8211; Yabitsu Pass (by bus &#8211; 570 yen) &#8211; Mt. Harudake &#8211; Mt.Ohyama (1251M) &#8211; Hinata Nature Road (with many spider lilies &#8211; Isehara Station (by bus)<\/p>\n<p>The total course time will be four and a half hours.<\/p>\n<p>The view from the peak of Mt Ohyama is famous for its beauty, so if we&#8217;re lucky with the weather, we ought to be able to enjoy a splendid panorama while we eat our lunch. \u00a0At the end of the hike (in Hinata), there are several scenic areas with spider lily fields.<\/p>\n<p>Please bring your own drinks and lunch. Please wear shoes appropriate for hiking.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/isehara-kanko.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/hinata-map2023.pdf\">Map of Hinata<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/okadosblog.blogspot.com\/2025\/09\/2025map.html\">Spider Lily fields (bus schedule)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2) Arakawa River Clean Up<br \/>\nOrganized by Tokyo River Friends<\/p>\n<p>SCHEDULE<br \/>\nGather at FUNABORI Station: 13:00<br \/>\nGather riverside 13:30<br \/>\nFinishing up: 17:30<\/p>\n<p>RIVER CLEAN UP<br \/>\nGather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the only ticket<br \/>\ngate, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the banks<br \/>\nfor about about 3 5 to 4 hours with a break in the middle.<\/p>\n<p>WHAT TO BRING<br \/>\nWear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wear<br \/>\nlong pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily get<br \/>\ncut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is recommended,<br \/>\nespecially during the summer months, and please bring lots of liquids to<br \/>\ndrink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually have some<br \/>\nextra pairs available to loan out.<\/p>\n<p>ADDITIONAL INFO<br \/>\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25 min. walk to our location on<br \/>\nthe island under the elevated C2 highway between the Kasaibashi Bridge<br \/>\nand the Shinjuku Line train bridge but much closer to the Shinjjuk Line<br \/>\nBridge. Call James (the organizer) cell phone 090-1847-5075 if there are<br \/>\nany problems finding us.<\/p>\n<p>RAIN<br \/>\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled.<br \/>\nPlease bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until<br \/>\nany downpours let up.
