1) Kioicho Morning Walk

\nLet\u2019s view the 6m-tall waterfall, visit a pleasant park with ornamental ponds and a sacred shrine then cool off in a free museum.<\/p>\n

\u2606Meeting Time\/Place: 9:00 JR Chuo Line Yotsuya Station Akasakaguchi Ticket Gate<\/p>\n

\u2606Course: Yotsuya Station – Hotel New Otani Japanese Garden – Shimizudani Park – Hirakawa Tenmangu – Hanzomon Museum – Ichigaya Station<\/p>\n

\u2606Walking Time: About 1 hour (about 3km) plus a lot of time for sightseeing so the walk should take about 2 hours.<\/p>\n

Gather at SHIN KOIWA Station: 14:30
\nGather riverside 15:00
\nFinishing up: 18:30<\/p>\n

RIVER CLEAN UP
\nGather at Shinkoiwa Station (Sobu Line) outside the North Exit ticket
\ngate, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the banks
\nfor\u00a0 about 3.5 to 4 hours with a break in the middle<\/p>\n

WHAT TO BRING
\nWear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please
\nwear\u2028long pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily
\nget\u2028cut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is
\nrecommended,\u2028especially during the summer months, and please bring lots
\nof liquids to\u2028drink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually
\nhave some\u2028extra pairs available to loan out.<\/p>\n

\nwinds (e.g.,\u2028typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be
\ncancelled.<\/p>\n
