1) Okutama Therapy Road Walk – The weather forecast predicts light rain, but the event will still be held.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meeting Place\/Time: Okutama Station ticket gate at 10:00 am<\/p>\n

Train: Be sure to arrive on this train as we will be unable to wait for the <\/strong>
\nnext one, since we take the 10:05 bus to Okutama Lake.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oume Departure (JR Oume Line going towards Okutama) 9:14 \u21d2 \u00a0Okutama Arrival 9:59<\/p>\n

Course (from Okutama Station): Okutama Station (10:05 bus – 15 minutes)\u00a0\u00a0 – Okutama Lake – Old (Therapy) Road – Shidakura Suspension Bridge – Tama River –\u00a0 Okutama Station<\/p>\n

Walking Time: About 4 hours. \u00a0Please bring a lunch and drinks.<\/p>\n

2) Okutama Camping (\u203bReservations must be made individually \/ Deadline on June 12 (Thursday))<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2605 Location: Okutama Hikawa Campground<\/p>\n

If you are joining us on a walk earlier in the day, we will check-in to the campsite before 4 pm. \u00a0There are lockers at Okutama station.<\/p>\n

If you are NOT participating in a walk and would like to go directly to the campground yourself, you can check-in any time after 8:30 am on your own. For more details, please check the official website of the campground (Japanese language only): https:\/\/www.okutamas.co.jp\/hikawa\/<\/a><\/p>\n

\nDeadline for reservation : 12:00 noon on June 13 (Thursday) – up to 15 people<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each individual is responsible for making their own reservation via the following link: https:\/\/www3.yadosys.com\/reserve\/ja\/room\/calendar\/147\/hagngpfgelhcenelfjeddedn\/all<\/a><\/p>\n

Please make sure to inform Miki at seitansai1335@yahoo.co.jp once your reservation has been placed. For those who reserve, Miki will contact the campground to let them know they are part of the same group (so we can be together). There is a limit of 15 people per group according to the campground rules. Also, the campground does fill up so the earlier you reserve the better. We will announce here that we are no longer accepting reservations once the number reaches 15.<\/p>\n

\u2605 Food and Equipment
\nEach individual is responsible for their own food (including preparation) and equipment. Please make sure to bring and prepare for your own food\/items for this day. There is a convenience store located about 15 minutes\u2019 walk from the campground. The campground also offers a variety of rental items. 3) Arakawa River Clean Up<\/p>\n

Organized by Tokyo River Friends<\/p>\n

Gather at FUNABORI Station: 14:30
\nGather riverside 15:00
\nFinishing up: 18:30<\/p>\n

RIVER CLEAN UP
\nGather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the only ticket
\ngate, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the banks
\nfor about about 3 5 to 4 hours with a break in the middle<\/p>\n

WHAT TO BRING
\nWear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wear
\nlong pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily get
\ncut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is recommended,
\nespecially during the summer months, and please bring lots of liquids to
\ndrink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we usually have some
\nextra pairs available to loan out.<\/p>\n

ADDITIONAL INFO
\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25 min. walk to our location on
\nthe island under the elevated C2 highway between the Kasaibashi Bridge
\niand the Shinjuku Line train bridge but much closer to the Shinjjuk Line
\nBridge. Call my cell phone 090-1847-5075 if there are any problems
\nfinding us.<\/p>\n

RAIN
\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled.
\nPlease bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until
\nany downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain\/strong winds (e.g.,
\ntyphoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled.<\/p>\n
