RIVER CLEAN UP
\nGather at NISHI KASAI Station (Tozai Line) outside the only ticket
\ngate, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the
\nbanks\u2028 for about 3 5 to 4 hours with a break in the middle.<\/p>\n
WHAT TO BRING
\nWear old clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and please wear
\nlong pants. Bare legs are not recommended because they can easily get
\ncut from objects like cut river reeds. Also, a hat is \u2028recommended,
\nespecially during the summer months, and please bring lots\u2028of liquids
\nto\u2028 drink. Bringing gloves is also recommended but we\u2028 usually\u2028 have
\nsome \u2028extra pairs available to loan out.<\/p>\n
ADDITIONAL INFO
\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25-30 min. walk to our location
\non\u2028 the island under the elevated C2 highway walking from
\nthe\u2028Kasaibashi\u2028 Bridge under the Tozai Line bridge to the end of the
\npod\u2028 section. Call\u2028 James\u2019 (the organizer) cell phone 090-1847-5075 if
\nthere\u2028are any\u2028 problems finding us.<\/p>\n
RAIN
\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be
\ncancelled.\u2028Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under
\na\u2028bridge) until\u2028 any downpours let up. In the event of heavy
\nrain\/strong\u2028 winds \u2028(e.g.,\u2028typhoon conditions) or lightning then the
\nevent will be\u2028 cancelled\u2028 (and \u2028usually moved to a different day).<\/p>\n
