A Fun Earth Day Bicycle Ride & BBQ lunch – Touring Mitaka and Musashino by Bike!!(Participation Fee: \u00a51,000) (Easy Course) (Canceled in case of rain)<\/p>\n

\u2605\u00a0Bicycle rental reservation required
\n\u2605 Even if you are bringing your own bicycle, please let us know if you plan to join so we can prepare accordingly for the BBQ.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a leisurely ride starting from JR Mitaka Station and visit parks and an airfield in Musashino, ending with a BBQ! (BBQ-only participation is not allowed, only those joining the bicycle ride may attend)<\/strong>. \u00a0Come enjoy a fun cycling trip while feeling the spring breeze.<\/p>\n

\u2605For those who need to rent a bicycle (reservation required):
\n– Please make a reservation by Thursday, April 17, by 5 pm by contacting MIKI at seitansai1335@yahoo.co.jp<\/a> (Make sure your email settings allow replies from this address.)<\/strong>
\n– Rental fee: \u00a5300 (please bring exact change if possible)
\n– We will make a group reservation at Suzukake Bicycle Parking Lot.
\n– Meet at 9:30 am at Mitaka Station South Exit Plaza (near the Tamagawa Josui Bridge). Staff will be waiting there and will guide everyone to the bicycle lot.<\/p>\n

\u2605 For those bringing their own bicycle:
\n– Please meet at 10 am at Mitaka Station South Exit Plaza.<\/p>\n

Route: Mitaka Station \u2192 Chofu Airfield \u2192 Nogawa Park (BBQ) \u2192 Jindaiji \u2192 Inokashira Park (expected to finish around 3 pm)<\/p>\n

After everyone has gathered, the staff will explain the route, and we will start the ride at\u00a010:30 am.<\/p>\n

Please bring your own lunch, drinks, and a picnic sheet. The BBQ equipment (charcoal, grill, etc.) will be prepared by the staff, but please bring your own food (You will have to take your trash home with you). Food and drinks can also be purchased along the way. Helmets are recommended for all riders.<\/p>\n

Our final destination is\u00a0Inokashira Park, but we\u2019ll enjoy a\u00a0BBQ party at Nogawa Park\u00a0on the way. After that, you\u2019re free to leave whenever you like.<\/p>\n

\nRiver Clean Up: 13:00-17:30<\/p>\n

RIVER CLEAN UP
\nGather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the\u00a0ticket gate
\nat\u2028 13:00, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the
\nriver bank for about 3.5 to 4 hours.<\/p>\n

ADDITIONAL INFO
\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location
\nbetween the Shinjuku Line train bridge and the Kasaibashi Bridge. Also
\ncall James (the organizer) cell phone 090-1847-5075 if there are any
\nproblems finding us.<\/p>\n

RAIN
\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled.
\nPlease bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a bridge) until
\nany downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain\/strong
\nwinds\u2028(e.g.,typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be
\ncancelled \u2028(and usually moved to a different day).<\/p>\n
