1)Chichibu Hike<\/p>\n

(1000 yen Participation Fee) (Intermediate Course)(Canceled in case of rain.)<\/p>\n

Meeting Place\/Time<\/strong>: Agano Station at 10:30 am<\/p>\n

Train<\/strong>: Trains are infrequent, only once every 30 minutes or so. \u00a0We can’t attend to latecomers and we also need to start a hike as scheduled. \u00a0Be sure to take this train as we will be unable to wait for the\u00a0next one.<\/p>\n

Hanno Station Departure \u2013 10:05 (Seibu Chichibu line train going\u00a0towards Seibu Chichibu),\u00a0Agano Station Arrival \u2013 10:28<\/p>\n

Course<\/strong>: Agano Station \u2013 Maesaka \u2013 Mt. Ootaka \u2013 Mt. Tenkaku –\u00a0Mt. Kamado – MusashiYokote Station. \u00a0The hiking time is about\u00a04.5 \u00a0hours.<\/p>\n

Please bring your lunch and drinks. \u00a0Also please put on shoes appropriate for the hike.<\/p>\n

2) Illumination & The end of the year party<\/p>\n

\nFor those not going on the hike, but want to see the Illuminations\u00a0together, we will meet Global Ring Cafe<\/a> inside Ikebukuro Nishiguchi Park\u00a0at 6:10 pm. \u00a0Call 080 6546-7688 (Miki and David) if you can\u2019t\u00a0find us.<\/p>\n

\u2605The-end-of-the-year-party: Reservations required<\/p>\n

We will have an end-of-the-year party at a Japanese Pub (from 7:00 pm) in Ikebukuro.<\/p>\n

Reservations Deadline: By December 15 (Fri) 1 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please make a reservation to Miki at (seitansai1335\u2605yahoo.co.jp) (please change \u2605 to @) and include your full name.<\/p>\n

You can only reserve for yourself in an email, so you cannot reserve for someone else. First 20 people will be accepted. \u00a0<\/strong>Please understand that we cannot increase the number of people after the deadline (including the day of the event) as this is a very busy season for Izakaya. Also, we apologize for not being able to keep a waiting list.<\/p>\n

Fee<\/strong>: 5,000 yen (all you can drink for 2 hours)<\/p>\n

\nIf you cancel by 1 pm on December 15 (Friday), <\/strong>there will be no cancellation fee. Cancelations made after that will incur a 3,500 yen cancelation fee<\/strong> and you are asked to pay for it. So, please make sure to contact Miki by email and cancel before this time and date if necessary.<\/p>\n

3) Tama River Clean Up<\/p>\n

Organized by Tokyo River Friends<\/p>\n

Gather at Kojimashinden Station (ticket gate): 13:00
\nRiver Clean Up: 13:30
\nReturn to station 17:00<\/p>\n

RIVER CLEAN UP
\nGather at Kojimashinden Station outside the only ticket gate at 13:00 and then go to the Tamagawa River and pick up trash along the banks for about about 3.5 to 4 hours.<\/p>\n

INFO:
\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location under or near the new Tamagawa Sky Bridge (But walk straight to the river first as there is no access from the bridge.) Also call James (the organizer) cell phone 090-1847-5075 if there are any problems finding us.<\/p>\n

RAIN:
\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled\u00a0as we will move to and from the river by car and we can clean up under\u00a0cover the bay front bridges as a Plan B as well as adjacent areas using\u00a0rain ware. In the event of heavy rain\/strong winds (e.g., typhoon\u00a0conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled.<\/p>\n
