1) Mt. Tsukuba Hiking & Party

Meeting Time & Place<\/strong>: 8:49 am at Tsukuba Station’s ticket gate<\/p>\n Since we need to take a bus after arriving at the station, we can’t wait for the next train and attend to latecomers.\u00a0Please make sure to arrive by the appointed time.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Train<\/strong>: If you are going from Kita Senju, take the Tsukuba Express Train (Express towards Tsukuba) at Kita Senju at 8:13.\u00a0This arrives\u00a0at Tsukuba (the final destination) at 8:47 and costs 1,050 yen.<\/p>\n We will take the 9:00 bus from Tsukuba Station to Tsukubasan-Jinja-Iriguchi\u00a0(36 minutes, 740 yen), and hike up Mt. Tsukuba (877 m\u30fbaltitude difference\u00a0610 m).\u00a0The hiking time is about\u00a05\u00a0hours. \u00a0Then, we’ll go back to Tsukuba Station.<\/p>\n Please bring lunch and drinks. \u00a0Also, please put on good shoes for hiking.<\/p>\n \u2605 Party<\/p>\n For those who want to go to the party after the hike, we hope to take the 16:42 train from Tsukuba station to Yashio station (on\u00a0the Tsukuba Express, arriving at 17:19) and go to Herman’s (David and Miki’s Canadian friend) nice place for a fun-filled party\u00a0(Togasaki 3119-2, Misato-Shi, Saitama 341-0044). \u00a0His house is a 20-25 minute walk from Yashio Station.<\/p>\n People who only want to go\u00a0to the party (or if the hike is canceled) should meet at\u00a0Yashio\u00a0Station\u2019s ticket gate at 17:20<\/strong>.\u00a0If the hiking group isn\u2019t there at that\u00a0time (ex. If the group misses the train) or if you come late, please call Herman\u00a0at 080-4140-6470.
