1) Tanzawa Hiking – Mt. Furou (928m)
\n(A bit difficult intermediate)(Cancelled in case of rain) (participation fee: 1000yen)<\/p>\n

Meeting place and time:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a09:47 am at JR Suruga-Oyama Station Ticket Gate<\/p>\n

Train<\/strong>: Trains are running infrequently and we can’t attend to latecomers.<\/strong> \u00a0Please make sure to arrive by the appointed time at the meeting place.<\/p>\n

If you are coming from Shinjuku (Odakyu line train going to Odawara) 8:01 \u00a0– Shinmatsuda station (arrives at 9:16) – Matsuda Station (JR Gotemba Line to Gotenba) (leaves at 9:27)\u00a0– Suruga-Oyama Station (arrives at 9:45)<\/p>\n

Course<\/strong>:\u00a0Suruga-Oyama station – Furounotaki waterfall – Mt. Furou – Tani-ga-yama- Suruga-Oyama station<\/p>\n

Expected hiking time: 6 hours<\/p>\n

Please make sure to wear the appropriate shoes for a hike and also bring lunch and drinks.<\/p>\n

2) Edogawa River Clean Up<\/p>\n

Gather at Myoden Station: 13:00
\nRiver Clean Up: 13:30
\nRelaxing riverside: 17:00\u2028Return to station: 17:30<\/p>\n

RIVER CLEAN UP
\nGather at Myoden Station (Tozai Line) outside the only\u00a0ticket gate\u00a0at\u00a013:00, and then go to the Edogawa River and pick up trash\u00a0along\u00a0the\u00a0banks for about about 3.5 to 4 hours.<\/p>\n

\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0opposite side of the river from the Clean Spa under the\u00a0bay\u00a0front\u00a0bridges. Just walk to the river from the station and the head\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0orange bridge. Also call James\u2019 (the organizer) cell phone\u00a0090-1847\u00a05075<\/strong>\u00a0if there are any problems finding us.<\/p>\n

RAIN
\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be\u00a0cancelled\u00a0as\u00a0we will move to and from the river by car and we can clean\u00a0up\u00a0under\u00a0cover the bay front bridges as a Plan B as well as adjacent\u00a0areas\u00a0using\u00a0rain ware. In the event of heavy rain\/strong winds\u00a0(e.g.,\u00a0typhoon\u00a0conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled.<\/p>\n
