Due to the bad weather forecast, this event is canceled.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

(1) Mt. Kagenobu & Takao Area Plum Blossom Viewing
\n(Participation fee 1000 yen) (Moderately difficult course) (Cancelled in case of rain)<\/p>\n

Meeting Place\/Time<\/strong>:\u00a0 The ticket gate for Sagamiko Station on the Chuo Line at 9:27 am<\/p>\n

Train<\/strong>:\u00a0The trains are infrequent (with the next train being 40 minutes later), so we cannot wait for the next train. \u00a0We need to start the hike according to the schedule, so please understand it is necessary to arrive on time if you want to join us.<\/p>\n

Takao Departure (Chuo Line going towards Kofu) 9:17 –\u00a0Sagamiko Arrival 9:25<\/p>\n

Also, please note that the JR time schedule changes from March 18. \u00a0Some websites do not reflect this change, so be very careful to make sure you have the right schedule (to get into Takao as well).<\/p>\n

Course<\/strong>:\u00a0 Sagamiko Station \u2013 Mt. Kagenobu \u2013 Ura-takao Plum Orchard \u2013 Hikage Bus Stop (take a bus here) – Takao Station (JR\/Keio Lines)<\/p>\n

Bring your own beverages and food for lunch, also make sure to wear appropriate shoes for a hike.<\/p>\n

2) Edogawa River Clean Up<\/p>\n

Gather at Myoden Station: 13:00
\nRiver Clean Up: 13:30
\nRelaxing riverside: 17:00
\nReturn to station: 17:30<\/p>\n

RIVER CLEAN UP<\/p>\n

Gather at Myoden Station (Tozai Line) outside the only\u00a0ticket gate\u00a0at\u00a013:00, and then go to the Edogawa River and pick up trash\u00a0along\u00a0the\u00a0banks for about about 3.5 to 4 hours.<\/p>\n

INFO<\/p>\n

If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0opposite side of the river from the Clean Spa under the\u00a0bay\u00a0front\u00a0bridges. Just walk to the river from the station and the head\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0orange bridge. Also call James\u2019 (the organizer) cell phone\u00a0090-1847\u00a05075<\/strong>\u00a0if there are any problems finding us.<\/p>\n

RAIN<\/p>\n

In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be\u00a0cancelled\u00a0as\u00a0we will move to and from the river by car and we can clean\u00a0up\u00a0under\u00a0cover the bay front bridges as a Plan B as well as adjacent\u00a0areas\u00a0using\u00a0rain ware. In the event of heavy rain\/strong winds\u00a0(e.g.,\u00a0typhoon\u00a0conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled.<\/p>\n
