Meeting place and time<\/strong>: At the ticket gate of JR MusashiItsukaichi Station at 8:54 am<\/p>\n We will take a bus at 9:00 from Musashiitsuka Station. \u00a0The bus is running VERY INFREQUENTLY \u00a0(the next bus will be one and a half hour later) and we can’t attend to latecomers. \u00a0Please make sure to arrive on time.<\/strong><\/p>\n Train<\/strong>: If you are coming from Shinjuku, take the (JR) Special Holiday Express going towards Musashiitsukaichi at 7:44.<\/p>\n Please be careful and get on the part of the train going to Musashi\u00a0Itsukaichi (the last stop).\u00a0 It arrives there at 8:51.<\/p>\n Course<\/strong>: From the station, we will take the 9:00 am bus (920 yen, 50\u00a0minutes)\u00a0going to Sengen-one Tozan Guchi.\u00a0 We will hike up to Henbori\u00a0Pass, Mt. \nGather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside\u00a0the\u00a0ticket gate at 13:00, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up\u00a0trash\u00a0along the\u00a0river bank for about about 3.5 to 4 hours.<\/p>\n
\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our\u00a0location\u00a0between the Shinjuku Line train bridge and the Kasaibashi\u00a0Bridge. Also\u00a0call James (the organizer) cell phone 090-1847 -5075<\/strong> if\u00a0there are any\u00a0problems finding us.<\/p>\n
\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be\u00a0cancelled.\u00a0Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a\u00a0bridge) until\u00a0any downpours let up. In the event of heavy rain\/strong\u00a0winds (e.g.,\u00a0typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be\u00a0cancelled (and usually moved to a different day).<\/p>\n
