Yugawara is a hot spring resort town loved by many literary artists. Nestled between mountains and the ocean, it is an area blessed with an abundance of nature\u2019s wonders. You can soak your feet in the soothing onsen waters.<\/p>\n

\u2606Course<\/strong>:\u00a0Yugawara Station – Yugawara Ekimae Tourist Information Center – Gosho Shrine – Fukusenji Temple Big Buddha Head – Yugawara Local Collection Museum – Rifuku Shrine – Footbath Doppo-no-Yu – Kofuso – Fudo Waterfall – Yugawara Station<\/p>\n

\u2606Walking Time<\/strong>: About 1 hour (about 5km) plus a lot of time for sightseeing so the walk should take about 2 hours.<\/p>\n

Gather at Funabori Station: 12:00

\nRiver Clean Up: 12:30-16:00
\nRIVER CLEAN UP<\/p>\n

Gather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the\u00a0ticket gate\u00a0at\u00a013:00, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash\u00a0along\u00a0the\u00a0river bank for about about 3.5 to 4 hours.\u00a0ADDITIONAL INFO\u2028If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our\u00a0location\u00a0between the Shinjuku Line train bridge and the Kasaibashi\u00a0Bridge. Also call David and Miki (the organizer) at 080-6546-7688<\/strong> if\u00a0there are any\u00a0problems finding us.<\/p>\n

In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be\u00a0cancelled.\u00a0Please bring rain gear and we will take shelter (under a\u00a0bridge) until\u00a0any downpours let up. . In the event of heavy rain\/strong\u00a0winds (e.g.,\u00a0typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be\u00a0cancelled (and\u00a0usually moved to a different day).<\/p>\n
