Local governments have shops in Tokyo to promote their regions through\u00a0food, souvenirs and tourist information. You can enjoy eating and\u00a0traveling around Japan with less time and money while supporting the\u00a0disaster-hit regions such as Tohoku, western Japan, Hokkaido and Nagano\u00a0by purchasing local specialties.<\/p>\n

\u2606Course<\/strong>: Yurakucho Station – Hokkaido Dosanko Plaza – Kesennuma Kuji\u00a0Fuskushima Information Station Okaeri Kan – Ginza Kumamoto-kan – Ginza\u00a0Nagano – Iwate Ginga Plaza – Tottori Okayama Shinbashi-kan – Shinbashi\u00a0Station<\/p>\n

\u2606Walking Time<\/strong>: About 1 hour (4km) plus a lot of time for shopping and\u00a0sightseeing so the walk should take about 2 hours.\u00a0You can buy food and drink on the way.<\/p>\n

Gather at Funabori Station: 13:00
\nGather riverside: \u00a013:30
\nRiver Clean Up: 13:00-17:30<\/p>\n

RIVER CLEAN UP<\/p>\n

Gather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the ticket gate at\u00a013:00, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash along the\u00a0river bank for about about 3 to 3 and half hours.<\/p>\n

\nIf you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location on the river at the waterline between the Shinjuku Line train bridge and the Kasaibashi Bridge. Also call James (the organizer) cell phone 090-1847-5075<\/strong> if there are any problems finding us.<\/p>\n

RAIN
\nIn the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be cancelled as we will use rain ware and take cover as necessary. In the event of heavy rain\/strong winds (e.g., typhoon conditions) or lightning then the event will be cancelled or stopped if already in progress.<\/p>\n
